The representative of the Sovremennik Theater denied in an interview with RIA Novosti the fact of the dismissal of actress Leah Akhedzhakova from this cultural institution.
“Liya Medzhidovna Akhedzhakova has not been fired and is an actress of the Sovremennik Theatre,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
Earlier, after the removal from the theater repertoire of the last of the performances in which the People’s Artist of Russia participated, this was perceived by both Akhedzhakova herself and the general public as the actual removal of the actress from work.
