Sovcomflot will allocate over 10 billion rubles for the payment of dividends

“Sovcomflot» will allocate RUB 10.189 billion for the payment of dividends for 2022, RUB 4.29 will be paid per ordinary share, reported company press office. This decision was made by the shareholders at the annual general meeting, which took place on June 15.
“The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PAO Sovcomflot decided to allocate RUB 10.189 billion, or 50% of the company’s adjusted net profit under IFRS for 2022, for the payment of dividends based on the results of 2022, which is RUB 4.29. per ordinary share,” follows from the company’s release.
The date on which the persons entitled to receive dividends are determined is July 5. The press release noted that “Sovcomflot» maintains plans to pay dividends of 50% of adjusted IFRS net income for 2023.
“Against the backdrop of continued favorable market conditions, which contribute to the high performance of the conventional tanker fleet, as well as the stable operation of the industrial segment of the company’s business, the company expects to maintain high levels of revenue and profitability in the medium term,” the press service said.
“Sovcomflot» in the first quarter of 2023 received $285.9 million of net income under IFRS. Over the same period last year, the company received a loss of $90.8 million. The company’s revenue for the first three months of 2023 more than doubled compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to $626.9 million, EBITDA – 2.4 times to $452.5 million. Last year was also successful for the company: revenue grew by 31% to $1.44 billion, net profit – almost 11 times and amounted to $385.2 million.
