Sobchak named the person responsible for the cancellation of Shnurov’s concert: “Prigozhin”

In the telegram channel “Bloody Lady” of Ksenia Sobchak, a comment appeared on the topic of canceling the concert of the Leningrad group in Moscow. Earlier it became known that the performance of Sergei Shnurov and his comrades was canceled “for reasons beyond the control of the organizers.” Shnurov himself said that the reasons for the cancellation of the concert had not yet been explained to him, but promised to do everything in his power to ensure that the audience received their money for tickets.
In the meantime, the Sobchak channel named a possible reason for the cancellation of the concert. The publication says that the event will not take place “of course, not for some mythical reasons, but for one and quite obvious one.”
“And her name is “Prigozhin” (obviously, we are not talking about producer Joseph Prigozhin, but about the late head of the Wagner PMC, Evgeny Prigzhin. – MK),” the post says.
The opinion is also expressed that “Shnurov was too close to the body, and this played against him.”
“The man really bet on the wrong horse,” Sobchak quipped.
In the last few years, Sobchak and Shnurov, who were previously friends, have had a bad relationship. The apogee of the conflict was the song “Shmarathon,” which Shnurov and his associates released in early 2022 and which contained allusions to the personal life of the former reality star. After the start of the SVO, Shnurov rudely criticized another ex-friend of his – Alexandra Nevzorova (included in the register of foreign agents). At the same time, rumors were discussed in the media, Telegram channels and social networks that Shnurov could have found a new friend in Prigozhin and allegedly helped him in realizing his personal political ambitions. Shnurov’s work on soundtracks for several films that were associated with PMCs and Prigozhin, as well as his singles criticizing the authorities of St. Petersburg, were cited as arguments in favor of this version. Shnurov himself did not comment on the possible connection with Prigozhin.
