Sminex founder Alexei Tulupov continues to buy bakery enterprises

The Moscow Bakery and Confectionery Holding (BKH) Kolomensky buys a controlling stake in the largest bakery company in the Tver region, OAO Volzhsky Pekar. This was told by two sources close to different sides of the negotiations. Three top managers of specialized associations also know about this. The deal has not been closed yet, it goes through several stages, but it is at the final stage, the interlocutors of Vedomosti say, without disclosing details. The fact that BKH “Kolomensky” intends to acquire “Volzhsky baker” was also reported a few days ago by the specialized publication Ohlebe.ru. A representative of the developer Sminex, whose founder Alexei Tulupov owns BKH Kolomensky, as well as the secretary of the general director and majority shareholder of Volzhsky Pekar declined to comment.

A representative of the Federal Antimonopoly Service said that at the moment there has been no application for approval of such a transaction.
