Singer Zara wants to register the Zara brand for cosmetics and jewelry

Zara LLC, owned by Russian singer Zara (real name Zarifa Mgoyan), has filed an application with Rospatent for the registration of the Zara trademark (“Zara”), according to the Online Patent service. The artist already has one such sign, but it belongs to the 41st class of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTU), that is, it allows entertainment events to be held under it. The new application, if approved, will give the singer the opportunity to produce cosmetics, clothes, jewelry, and watches under this brand. Zara will also be able to engage in the production of various food products and the production of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The singer’s representative did not respond to Vedomosti’s request.

In 2020, Zara was the brand ambassador for natural cosmetics brand Zeitun, and she has also collaborated with other brands, such as Mercury jewelry. But she had not released her cosmetics, clothes or jewelry before.
