This happened at the Russian Entreprise Theater named after Andrei Mironov, which today celebrates two important dates at once – the 35th anniversary of the theater and the 85th anniversary of its founder Rudolf Furmanov. Furmanov’s friends from Moscow came to St. Petersburg – Alexander Oleshko, Olga Ostroumova, Levon Oganezov, Lyudmila Chursina, the son of Nikolai Karachentsov, with whom Rudolf Furmanov was friends.
Satire Theater actor Yuri Vasiliev brought a gift from Alexander Shirvindt to St. Petersburg – a smoking pipe. But not his own, but a genuine film rarity – Ostap Bender’s pipe from the film “The Twelve Chairs” directed by Mark Zakharov.
– Handing me this pipe, Alexander Anatolyevich told me that Andryusha smoked it several times on camera.
