Singer Yaroslav Dronov, performing under the pseudonym Shaman, continued to exploit the political situation in his work, this time using the nuclear threat. During a performance in St. Petersburg, the singer pressed the red button on stage while performing his patriotic hit.

Concert In Petersburg was given in September, but on the occasion of National Unity Day, the television version was shown on federal TV. One of the moments of the performance attracted the attention of the general public – even those who did not watch the TV show and do not follow the work of “Shaman”. Social networks are actively discussing the decision of the authors of the act to bring a suitcase with a “red button” onto the stage during the performance of the song “I am Russian.” At the climax, the singer pressed a button, after which fiery fireworks were launched over the stage.

The singer’s director, Alexander Kachan, told Podem that the red button in the suitcase is just “part of the show” and stage “technique”.

At the beginning of November 2022, Shaman published a video on social networks with different people singing “I am Russian” and stated that “the greatest happiness for the author is when his song becomes popular.”
