Sergey Raskolov appointed CEO of Merlion group of companies

Sergey Raskolov replaced Dmitry Vinogradov as the head of the Merlion group of companies (wide-profile IT distributor), told Kommersant in the company. Mr. Vinogradov remains with the company, where he has worked for more than twenty, including as CEO since 2016 and president of the group of companies since 2021.
“Dmitry Vinogradov led the company in one of the most difficult periods in its history and successfully overcame all difficulties, achieving record financial performance and forming the strongest team in the Russian IT distribution market,” said Alexey Abramov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Merlion.
Personnel appointment is connected with implementation of new strategy of business, noted in Merlion. Sergey Raskolov joined the company as a sales manager in 2003, then became a regional manager, a year later he took the position of commercial director of one of Merlion’s structural divisions. Since January 2007, he has served as Sales Director for Merlion. From March 2013 to December 2016 – CEO of Merlion. In 2017, Sergey left the company and all this time he was developing his own business project.
