Serbian musician Goran Bregovic was denied entry to Moldova. The reason was named by the head of the Moldovan Ministry of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros himself – the pro-Russian views of the musician and support for the annexation of Crimea to Russia.
The organizers of the Moldovan ethno-festival Gustar, who invited Bregovic as a headliner, said that he and his colleagues would not perform in front of the Moldovan public, since they were not allowed into the country.
The musician and composer is known in Eastern Europe for the rock band Bijelo Dugme. In addition, he is the author of music for films, among which are the works of Emir Kusturica.
