Seligdar will increase the capacity of the Ryabinovo factory to 1.7 million tons per year in 2024

Polymetallic holding “Seligdar” (MOEX:SELG) plans to increase the production capacity of the gold extraction plant at the Ryabinovy production complex to 1.7 million tons of ore per year in 2024. Currently, the plant’s capacity is 1.6 million tons of ore per year.
How reported press service of the holding, it will be possible to increase the production capacity of the factory next year by installing a third vat. The next stage of modernization of the enterprise at Ryabinov will be equipping it with six hydrocyclones, which will improve the quality of grinding, but will not increase the circulation load at the second stage of grinding when processing 1.7 million tons of ore per year.
Seligdar is one of the five largest companies in Russia in terms of gold reserves (272 tons as of 2022) and one of the five largest in the world in terms of tin reserves (405 thousand tons).
The gold recovery plant at the Ryabinovoye deposit in Yakutia was put into operation in 2017. The factory carries out the entire technological cycle from ore to cathode gold. In September 2023, the factory put into production a third contact vat for preliminary cyanidation, which made it possible to increase the cyanidation and sorption time by 12 hours and maintain the maximum recovery level of up to 90% of gold.
