Sberbank’s share (MOEX: SBER) in the total volume of issued mortgage loans decreased by 8.5% in February 2023, follows from a review of analysts Frank RG. Now the bank’s share is 46.3%. Frank RG analysts note that Sberbank’s indicator has been declining for the second month in a row.

By the end of January 2024, Sberbank’s share in issuing mortgages decreased by 4.3%, to 54.8%. During the month, the volume of loans issued by the bank also decreased; by the end of the month it amounted to 151.3 billion rubles. In February, the figure increased by 1.4 billion rubles.

Sberbank issued 14.7% of the total volume of mortgage loans for new buildings. In January, 9.6% more loans were issued to them. In the secondary market and individual housing construction segments, the issuance of Sberbank loans increased to 55.1% and 19.3%, respectively.
