New version of the Sberbank application (MOEX: SBER) for smartphones “Online Accounting” is not available in the App Store. The bank’s press service reported that it can no longer be downloaded.
“If you managed to install and register with Accounting Online on your iPhone, you can delete the old version of the Sberbank Online application. Now “Accounting Online” can no longer be downloaded from the App Store,” says the press release.
Application was available for installation from January 31st. On February 1, Sberbank said that it became the leader in the number of downloads in the Russian application store RuStore, where it was downloaded more than 10 million times.
In April 2022, Russian banks, including Sber, came under blocking US sanctions. Because of this, the applications of credit institutions were removed from the Apple online store.
