The head office of Sberbank was opened in Simferopol (MOEX: SBER) in Crimea. In 2024, the financial institution will double its presence on the peninsula, Sberbank head German Gref told reporters.
The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, said that the opening of the head office of Sberbank is a window of opportunity for Crimeans. “Sberbank gives an additional incentive to the process of improving the banking system of Crimea,” noted the head of the region (quote via his Telegram channel).
Now there are 14 offices and about 130 terminals of Sberbank in Crimea.
