Sberbank plans to open a head office in Simferopol by the end of 2023. According to Stanislav Kuznetsov, deputy chairman of the board of the credit organization, in total, about 15 more offices are planned to open on the peninsula by the end of the year.
“We are now actively working to ensure that a head office building appears in Simferopol. It has been purchased, the project has been approved, and the project is being implemented. We plan to launch this building by the end of the year, maybe a little earlier,” Mr. Kuznetsov said at the Eastern Economic Forum (quoted by Interfax).
Since May 2023, Sberbank has opened three offices in Crimea – in Yalta, Sevastopol and Kerch. First Deputy Chairman of the Bank’s Board Alexander Vedyakhin said that by the end of this year it is planned to increase the number of ATMs in Crimea to 130.
