Sberbank began issuing loans under the state program “Industrial Mortgage”, the organization’s press service reported. The bank has already provided three loans for the purchase of production facilities in the amount of 469 million rubles.
AT press release It is noted that now Sberbank is working together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to change the terms of the lending program. It is assumed that within the framework of the program, preferential loans can also be used for construction, modernization, reconstruction and overhaul.
“We expect changes to the program, which will significantly expand the opportunities for targeted use of allocated funds, since the current limits are small, the bank will master them in the first quarter of 2023. In this regard, we expect an increase in the volume of the allocated limit for the bank, which will increase the amount of financing under the program,” said Alexander Vedyakhin, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Sberbank.
The “industrial mortgage” program started in September 2022. The mechanism involves lending to industrial enterprises for the purchase of production payments. The maximum amount of a preferential loan is up to 500 million rubles. at a rate of 3% per annum for technology companies and 5% for other borrowers.
More than 970 million rubles have been allocated in the federal budget for the implementation of the program for the period from 2022 to 2025. In addition to Sberbank, another 15 credit organizations can provide “industrial mortgages”. The first transactions under the VTB preferential program spent at the end of December last year.
