Sberbank increased rates on deposits in rubles, the maximum yield is 14%

Sberbank (MOEX: SBER) again raised rates on deposits in rubles – SberVklad, “Best%”, “Manage+”. The maximum return – 14% – is offered by the “Best%” deposit for six months, reported press service of the credit institution.
“Sber quickly reacts to every change in the market situation. Following Friday’s increase in the key rate, we immediately increased deposit rates – the maximum is now 14%. It’s most profitable now to open a deposit with Sberbank for six months,” commented Sergei Shirokov, director of the “Borrow and Save” department of Sberbank.
On October 27, the Bank of Russia raised the key rate from 13% to 15% due to accelerated inflation. By weakening the rate, according to the head of the regulator Elvira Nabiullina, it will be possible go in 2024 “after a sustained decline in inflation.” The next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Russia is scheduled for December 15, 2023.
