Sber Eapteka began participating in an experiment on the online sale of prescription drugs. The first region where you can order such drugs remotely was the Belgorod region, TASS was told in the press service of the company.
To order prescription drugs online, you need an electronic prescription. The order is placed in the application or on the Sber Eapteki website. You will need to go through authorization or give your consent to the automatic verification of data with the register of prescriptions in the regional Uniform State Health Information System. Upon receipt of the order, you must present an identity document. A person with a power of attorney in the name of the buyer can also receive an order.
Sber Eapteka also intends to launch an online sale of prescription drugs in Moscow and the Moscow region. When exactly, the company did not specify.
In May 2020, amid the coronavirus pandemic, the government approved the remote sale of over-the-counter medicines. President Vladimir Putin instructed to conduct an experiment on the electronic sale of such drugs. In October 2023, the State Duma accepted law on the experimental sale of prescription drugs. In February the government simplified issuance of permits for the online sale of over-the-counter medicines. Not everything can be bought remotely: in particular, narcotic and psychotropic substances were included in the stop list.
