Information about the hacking of Sberbank’s systems and the leakage of data from bank customers is not true, the company’s press service told TASS. Earlier that hackers hacked the services of Sberbank, the publication reported SOTA with reference to the head of the Association of Professional Users of Social Networks and Messengers (APPSIM) Vladimir Zykov. “The information is not true. The bank successfully repels any attacks and has the most advanced information security system. Clients’ funds are securely protected, data is safe,” the press service said in a statement.
Sberbank added that the data presented on the “hacker resources” is a compilation of various databases obtained as a result of hacking contractor companies of Sberbank’s subsidiaries. “They do not contain any sensitive financial information,” the press service concluded.
