Saudi Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman said that in September, oil supplies from the kingdom to Europe doubled to 950,000 barrels. The Minister stated this during his speech at the sixth conference “Future Investment Initiative” in Riyadh.
He also revealed that the kingdom is talking to many European governments about the current crisis, noting that it could be the “worst energy crisis” (quoted from Al Hurra).
Abdel Aziz bin Salman stressed that Saudi Arabia is the most reliable supplier of oil. According to the minister, Saudi Aramco’s deliveries to Europe amounted to 950,000 barrels in September, while last year it was 490,000.
The West refuses Russian energy carriers because of the military conflict in Ukraine. Bloomberg reported the desire of the United States install the ceiling on Russian oil is above $60 per barrel. Meanwhile Europe refused from an immediate cap on gas prices.
