Company Samsung has not yet made a final decision to return to the Russian market, the South Korean edition of Guru reported, citing a company representative.
“Nothing has been decided yet,” the company said regarding the timing of its possible return to the Russian market (cit. by Prime).
Today the Izvestia newspaper, citing sources toldwhat Samsung is considering the possibility of returning to the Russian market before the end of the year. It was reported that the company could resume deliveries of equipment to retailers and restart the official online store. It is assumed that sales can resume as early as October, the publication claims.
On March 5, Samsung announced that it was suspending product deliveries to the Russian market, citing “current geopolitical events” as the reason for the decision. At the same time, the company emphasized that this measure is temporary. It was clarified that all applications, service maintenance and official stores will continue to work in full.
