Congratulating the team on the new year, its director Kirill Krok wrote in his message to the team: “I see perfectly well what is happening with prices, how they have increased for food and essential services. Therefore, I believe that one of the main tasks in the theater is to increase the level of people’s well-being, simply put, their salaries. I have decided to raise everyone’s salaries by 15 thousand rubles a month starting January 1. As they say, keep your hands clean. To understand: in addition to this figure, you need to add 13% income tax and 30% insurance premiums… This is a modest gift to each of you from the theater for the New Year.”

It must be said that back in November last year, Vakhtangovsky increased monthly payments to artists for participation in performances and rehearsals by almost two million rubles. They promise to keep them this year. But what’s especially nice is that social benefits also extend to the invisible fighters on the theater front. “I would like to remind you that without each of you, I emphasize, without each of you, I am like without hands, because tomorrow depends on each of you. The smiles and politeness of the attendants, cashiers, security service, cloakroom attendants, the cleanliness of the theater and, of course, first of all, the artistic level of the performances, the skill and talent of all the artists determine whether a person will want to return to our theater again,” This is how Kroc concluded his New Year’s message.
