Russia’s largest banks lowered exchange rates – Kommersant

Sberbank, Tinkoff-Bank, Alfa-Bank and other large banks have reduced exchange rates in their applications. Rates fell immediately by several rubles. This was reported RBC with reference to the data in the banks application.
Exchange rates in banks:
- Sberbank — 89.79 rubles/$ and 95.75 rubles/€ compared to 90.09 rubles/$ and 96.06 rubles/€ the day before, June 24;
- Tinkoff Bank — 89.4 rubles/$ and 97.4 rubles/€ versus 91.1 rubles/$ and 99.25 rubles/€;
- Alfa-Bank — 90 rubles/$ and 99 rubles/€ versus 96.77 rubles/$ and 106.21 rubles/€;
- VTB — 91.81 rubles/$ and 100.41 rubles/€ versus 94.5 rubles/$ and 102.5 rubles/€;
- Gazprombank — 91.85 rubles/$ and 98 rubles/€ versus from 97.3 rubles/$ and 104.3 rubles/€;
- Raiffeisenbank – 92.46 rubles/$ and 98.96 rubles/€ versus 97.55 rubles/$ and 106.4 rubles/€.
Against the background of the military mutiny of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” on the night of June 23-24, Russian banks sharply raised the selling prices of foreign currencies. By morning, they exceeded the exchange rates for the dollar and the euro by 10-13 rubles. and 12–14 rubles. respectively.
