Russians criticized Larisa Dolina after her words about Shatunov

Internet users responded critically to Larisa Dolina, who doubted that singer Yuri Shatunov, who died in 2022, could be called a legend.

Dolina wrote on social networks that she does not consider conversations about Shatunov’s difficult fate “related to the profession.” The artist’s songs, she said, “cannot cause hysterics and tears in an adult,” because “an adult is concerned about other problems.”

The singer’s statement became a commentary on her own performance at a concert dedicated to the memory of Shatunov, and the authors of the comments expressed the view that receiving money for a concert and then speaking in such a way is, to say the least, tactless.

Also, Internet users did not agree with the very thesis that Shatunov is not a legend, and suggested that the Valley might envy him as a performer.
