Russian railways reached the Crimea // The company may start passenger transportation to the peninsula
[ad_1]
Russian Railways is the first Russian state-owned company to officially start operating in Crimea. The Ministry of Transport is discussing with her the possibility of organizing passenger transportation to the peninsula. Now the railway infrastructure in Crimea belongs to Crimean Railways, independent of the monopoly, and the private Grand Service Express (GSE) organizes passenger transportation. The GSE said that they are not discussing any option for a merger with the state-owned company. According to experts, there is no big difference who will be responsible for passenger transportation to Crimea, but the issue of involving Russian Railways in them also raises other problems – about transferring the Crimean Railways to the state-owned company and organizing transportation management in the annexed territories.
