Russian Railways expects delivery of the Russian analogue of Lastochka in 2023

“Russian Railways” (Russian Railways) are expecting the delivery of a completely Russian analogue of the Lastochka passenger electric train in the second half of 2023. This was announced by the CEO Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, writes TASS.
“Deliveries of a completely Russian DC train are planned for the second half of this year, and the delivery of dual-system trains for 2025,” Belozerov said at a meeting in the Federation Council.
February 15 at Russian Railways reported that they expect to receive about 880 new passenger cars, and by the end of the year the company plans to increase the number of cars with “children’s compartments” to 400 units.
