At the beginning of June, the FSB reported, which revealed “an intelligence operation by American intelligence agencies” carried out using Apple devices. Several thousand phones of Russian diplomats were infected with malware, the security service said.
After that, Russian departments and state-owned companies began to prohibit their employees from using the iPhone for official purposes. First ban introduced Minpromtorg. Employees of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Rostec are also prohibited from using Apple technology for official purposes.
