According to monitoring Bloomberg, Russia shipped almost 3.48 million barrels of crude oil per day from its ports in the four weeks before November 5. This is a level close to the highest in more than four months.
According to the agency, seaborne oil supplies from Russia “changed little” in the four weeks to November 5 and amounted to 3.48 million barrels per day (b/d). The figure fell from the 3.5 million barrels per day supplied daily in the period up to October 22. Supply to Asia fell to 2.93 million b/d, down from 3.03 million b/d in the period through October 29. This is also significantly lower than the peak value (about 3.6 million b/d) recorded in May, Bloomberg notes.
During the reporting period until November 5, 1.1 million b/d were sent to China, and 1.12% million b/d to India. Deliveries to Bulgaria averaged about 104 thousand b/d, and 443 thousand b/d were delivered to Turkey. About 103 thousand more b/d went to “unknown destinations,” and most of these cargoes pass through the Suez Canal, the agency claims.
According to forecasts by the analytical company Kpler, sea shipments of Russian oil in November may increase by 200 thousand barrels per day compared to October, reaching record values since May of this year. Companies are forced to redirect oil for export due to repairs at refineries.
