A Russian company may become one of the contractors for the construction of a hydroelectric power station on the Paunlawn River in Myanmar, follows from the materials of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development. According to the head of the ministry, Maxim Reshetnikov, several Russian companies also announced their readiness to carry out cargo transportation to the Asian country (including for the delivery of energy resources there).

“The most promising areas of cooperation between the two countries are food and energy security, financial stability, sustainable logistics, tourism, digital economy and healthcare,” the press release says. website Ministry of Economic Development.

The name of the company, whose participation in the status of a contractor is planned for the construction of the Myanmar hydroelectric power station, is not specified by the ministry.
