Russian digital security firm BI.ZONE has denied reports that hackers compromised its infrastructure. The company stressed that there are no risks for the company and its customers. Previously, the DumpForums hacking team announced on Telegram that BI.ZONE had been hacked and published, allegedly, the company’s customer database.
“The screenshots posted in the channel are a hosted virtual machine that hosts the web pages of our conference sites. This virtual machine is not connected in any way to the BI.ZONE infrastructure. Therefore, nothing threatens our clients,” the Russian company said in a Telegram statement.
The press service of BI.ZONE added that the company is investigating the incident and plans to publish its results with a detailed analysis.
BI.ZONE is a subsidiary of Sberbank that positions itself as a digital risk management company. On site BI.ZONE says that the company helps to safely develop business on the Internet.
DumpForums hacker group formerly declared, in particular, about the hacking of the website of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. The hackers changed the title of the ministry’s website to a slogan with a Ukrainian greeting and reported that the entire database posted on the website had been exported. Later Ministry of Construction informed about the absence of threats to personal data of users.
