The State Tretyakov Gallery will donate the famous Trinity icon by Andrei Rublev to the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC).
It is expected that the “Trinity” will be placed in the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, where Orthodox Russians will have the opportunity to bow to her during the year. After that, the icon will be transported to the Holy Trinity Sergius Lavra. The movement of a cultural heritage site of federal significance will be controlled by experts, and it will be stored in a special capsule with the necessary temperature and humidity conditions.
