The share of Russian drugs on the market has reached about 70%. About it reported Head of Roszdravnadzor Alla Samoilova at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
“Over the past three years, the share of Russian drugs has increased by almost 10%; today, Russian drugs account for about 70% of the total introduction into civilian circulation,” she said.
According to Samoilova, this is “not the last bar.” The production of medicines in the country is increasing every day. The head of Roszdravnadzor clarified that in 2022, nine enterprises producing drugs were put into operation, and four more in the first quarter of 2023. The share of domestic vital and essential medicines has increased to 80% over the past four years.
In late August was launched production at the pharmaceutical plant “R-Opra” in Zelenograd. It will produce drugs for the treatment of oncology, orphan respiratory, rheumatic, cardiovascular, neurological and nephrological diseases. In addition, the plant will produce drugs for the treatment of HIV infection and immunosuppressants.
The plant’s capacity will be 270 million packages of drugs per year. Already in 2024, antitumor drugs produced at R-Oprah will go on sale.
