Rostelecom plans to hold an IPO of one of its subsidiaries in 2024

President of Rostelecom (MOEX: RTKM) Mikhail Oseevsky said that in 2024 the operator plans to hold an IPO of one of its subsidiaries. Mr. Oseevsky did not specify the name of the company.
How it conveys Interfax from the digital transformation forum as part of Russian Business Week, the company’s president clarified that Rostelecom plans to sell a small stake in its subsidiary in order to test the “appetite” of investors.
In October 2023, Mr. Oseevsky reportedthat Rostelecom does not exclude the possibility that some of its subsidiaries will go public in the future. In April 2021, at the presentation of Rostelecom’s development strategy, company representatives spoke about plans to attract strategic partners or conduct an IPO of some key business areas.
