The Rostec State Corporation reported that DDoS attacks on the Leonardo air ticket booking system, which were reported on the morning of September 28, have resumed. According to Rostec, attacks are carried out from the territory of several countries, including Ukraine.
“At the moment there are minor glitches, but overall the system is holding up confidently thanks to the actions of our specialists,” it says Telegram channel “Rostec”.
After the morning DDoS attack on Leonardo, how reported airlines, problems arose with check-in at airports, which began to be done manually. By 12:00 the system had resumed operation.
Last year, all 53 Russian airlines were forced to switch to domestic reservation systems. The Rostec State Corporation has transferred Russian companies to the Leonardo platform developed by Sirena-Travel. According to Rostec, Leonardo has been regularly subjected to hacker attacks in recent months.
