Against the backdrop of sanctions, the Russian authorities are solving the issue of import substitution of components for aircraft. Now the main goal of the Russian aviation industry is the most complete import substitution of all systems and assemblies. In this regard, in early March, the Ministry of Industry and Trade reportedthat the SSJ engine certification deadline will be accelerated and completed in the next 12 to 14 months.
At the end of March, it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade ordered preparation and testing of the SSJ-New aircraft for 15 billion rubles. Rostec announced that a 97% import-substituted modification, the development of which was estimated at 120 billion rubles, will appear by 2024.
