Rostec State Corporation has developed a mobile complex for detecting stolen cars in traffic. The Rozysk-Nano complex is installed in a patrol car and checks the license plates of cars in real time against databases. About it informed company press office.
Rozysk-Nano includes a video surveillance module that is installed in a patrol car, a tablet and software. After reading the car number, the complex sends a request to the search bases and reports the location of the car if it is listed as stolen.
“The solution will make it possible to instantly identify in the traffic stream cars that are stolen, wanted by bailiffs or deregistered. Due to the fact that the system recognizes license plates at a great distance, the traffic police crew has time to make a decision to stop the vehicle, ”the press service quotes the words of Yuri Valov, the general director of the Meteor plant, who was involved in the creation of the complex.
The press service added that they are going to launch pilot operation in 2022 in the Volgograd region.
