The Rostec state corporation holding Ruselectronics has developed matrix photomodules based on silicon crystals. They can be used to guide high-precision weapons. The new product was reported in press service “Rostec”.
The new photomodules are characterized by low power consumption of 60 mV. The “visibility” of photomodules is 400-900 nm: thanks to this, they can be used to obtain images at any time of the day.
Photomodules produce images with a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. The modules can be used as part of video monitoring and scanning systems, as well as for targeting high-precision weapons. The modules were created entirely from Russian components.
“The technical solutions found will be used to modernize existing and develop new video systems for military and civilian purposes,” Rostec reported. By the end of 2023, based on these modules, a miniature camera for technical vision will be presented.
