Rostec denied the detention of its top managers in a Moscow restaurant

The press service of Rostec denied the information that two top managers of the state corporation were detained for fraud in the Moscow restaurant Spaten Hause – from the center of supercomputer modeling and Tsifromed. The company said that the first detainee does not work in the center, and Tsifromed belongs to private individuals.

The detention of Rostec employees was reported “News” with a link to the source. According to the publication, Roman Selivanov, Business Development Director of the Rostec Supercomputer Simulation Center, and Leonid Kokovin, Commercial Director of Tsifromed LLC, were detained. The newspaper writes that they are accused of fraud on an especially large scale (part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

“The information is not true. A person with such a surname did not work and does not work in the center of supercomputer modeling. The Tsifromed company belongs to private individuals, Rostec has not been its co-owner since last year, ”the Rostec press service said (quote from “RIA News”).

According to Izvestia, Rostec employees came to the restaurant to receive 2.5 million rubles. from the General Director of the Moscow Center for New Telecommunication Technologies (JSC MC NTT) Sergey Shishmarev. Prior to this, JSC MC NTT won the public procurement competition. Representatives of Rostec explained to the CEO that his victory in the competition was due to a technical error and it was necessary to involve another company as a subcontractor in order to avoid fines. In order to secure an “undeniable” victory in the competition, Mr. Shishmarev was asked to pay 10 million rubles. He contacted the police.

Izvestia reports that Roman Selivanov and Leonid Kokovin refuse to cooperate with the investigation. In the near future they will be elected a measure of restraint.
