Rostec State Corporation banned employees, including organizations belonging to the holding, from using Apple equipment for official purposes, reported “RIA News” company press office. The ban will apply to a total of 600 thousand people, including 500 employees of the central office.
“Indeed, a complete ban is being introduced in all organizations of the corporation on the use of American-made equipment in the work,” the press service of the state corporation responded to a request from the agency.
From July 17, a ban on the use of Apple devices in work communications will take effect for officials from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and organizations subordinate to the ministry, the Vedomosti newspaper reported, citing an internal order of the department.
