Rosoboronexport’s portfolio of orders is about 3 trillion rubles, since the beginning of the year new export contracts have been signed for 1 trillion rubles, said the general director of Rostec (which includes Rosoboronexport) Sergey Chemezov at the opening of the Army-2022 forum.
“This year we have already signed contract documents with foreign customers in the amount of more than 1 trillion rubles. This figure exceeds some annual figures over the past ten years,” he said.
Chemezov clarified that 40% of the sum of all contracts falls on aviation, 30% – on air defense (air defense), the rest – on the equipment of the ground forces and the Navy (Navy) of Russia.
The Army-2022 forum, which will be held from August 15 to 21, will be attended by military delegations from 72 countries. The day before, the Kremlin reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin would take part in the opening ceremony of the Army-2022 military-technical forum and the International Army Games-2022. Today, as expected, he will visit the exhibition sites of promising models of military equipment in the military-patriotic park of culture and recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation “Patriot”.
