The state-owned company Rosoboronexport has produced $211 billion worth of weapons and military products since 2000. Over 23 years, the company has concluded more than 12 thousand contracts with 122 countries. This is reported in its Telegram channel.
The state company Rosoboronexport was founded on November 4, 2000. The company exports more than 85% of Russian weapons and military equipment.
This year, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) recorded a decrease in arms exports from Russia. During the period from 2018 to 2022, Russian arms exports decreased by 31%. Its main buyer is India. The United States ranks first in the world in arms exports.
