Rosneft increased EBITDA in 2022 by 9.5% and production by 2.3%

The oil company Rosneft published 2022 IFRS financials. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) in 2022 increased by 9.5% compared to 2021 to 2.6 trillion rubles, the press service of the oil company said.

Rosneft’s revenue over the past year increased by 3.2% compared to 2021 (an absolute figure is not disclosed, revenue for 2021 amounted to 8.8 trillion rubles). Operating profit in 2022 increased by 8.9% to RUB 1.5 trillion. At the same time, net income attributable to shareholders of the company decreased by 7.9% to RUB 813 billion. “The dynamics of the indicator was largely due to the influence of non-monetary factors. The achieved level of net profit is a solid basis for the payment of dividends for the reporting year,” the company noted.
