Roskomnadzor recalled the introduction of fines for non-marking of online advertising

From September 1, 2023, fines will be introduced for the lack of labeling of online advertising, reminds Roskomnadzor (RKN) in its Telegram channel. Fines will range from 10 thousand to 100 thousand rubles. for individuals, from 200 thousand to 500 thousand rubles. for legal entities, reminds RKN.
Amendments regarding online advertising, entered effective September 1, 2022. From this date, participants in the advertising market are required to mark Internet advertising and transfer data on its placement to the RKN. Penalties for the lack of labeling of Internet advertising of the State Duma approved in June 2023.
Prior to this, Russian advertising and marketing associations proposed to postpone the introduction of fines until at least January 1, 2024.
