Roskomnadzor has restricted access to the website of the online publication Sota due to unreliable information about a special military operation. In addition to Sota, access to the resources of Memorial and Sota.vision (both declared foreign agents) was blocked.

“Access to the specified resource is limited for the dissemination of false information about the progress of a special military operation,” the press service reported TASS.

The editors of the publication reported that they had not received notifications about the blocking. The decision to block was made on March 5 “for systemic violations of the laws of the Russian Federation,” and access to the site was limited on March 19. “Journalists who “justified terrorism” and “slandered Mizulina” (these are two of our “editorial” criminal cases) should not be surprised at the new pressure from the authorities,” the editors addressed the readers. More than 136 thousand people have subscribed to the Sota Telegram channel.
