Rosbank’s IFRS net income in the first quarter is almost twice the income for the whole of 2022

Rosbank’s net profit in the first quarter of this year amounted to 8.7 billion rubles, which is almost two times higher than the profit for the entire last year (4.9 billion rubles), according to website companies.
The company’s net operating income in the first quarter amounted to 22.9 billion rubles, and operating efficiency (the ratio of operating expenses to operating income before provisions) is at the level of 50%. For the whole of 2022, operating efficiency was 52%. Last year, Rosbank did not disclose quarterly reports.
From the published materials it follows that the loan portfolio of Rosbank in the first quarter amounted to just over 1 trillion rubles. During the quarter, the bank’s loan funds increased by 11%, the report says. The loan portfolio of legal entities increased by 23% over the quarter, reaching RUB 440 billion.
