Rosatom’s net profit fell by 14%

The net profit of the state corporation Rosatom according to IFRS decreased over the past year by 14% and amounted to more than 166 billion rubles. This follows from Vedomosti’s calculations based on the corporation’s reporting published on its website.
Net profit data is not provided in Rosatom’s annual report. The state corporation only acknowledges the fact of a drop in profits in one of the footnotes of the report. But at the same time, the volumes of revenue, assets, as well as indicators of return on sales by net profit (ROS) and return on assets by net profit (ROA) for 2020–2022 are indicated. In particular, the ROS indicator in 2022 decreased by 3.85 percentage points compared to the previous year to 9.43%. At the same time, ROA fell to 2.47% last year from 3.71% a year earlier, return on equity (ROE) dropped to 4.94% (6.32% in 2021).
