Rosatom plans to enter the top global producers of composites by 2030

“Rosatom» plans by 2029-2030. to become one of the world leaders in the production of composites, the general director of the state corporation Alexei Likhachev told reporters.
According to him, Rosatom will increase its competencies in a number of areas in order to reach its level of development in the nuclear industry.

At the same time, Russia has already entered the top four world leaders in this area along with the United States, Japan and Western Europe, Likhachev added.
Earlier in December Likhachev informedthat the volume of deliveries of Rosatom abroad in 2022 overcame the “psychologically important barrier” of $10 billion rubles. Growth for the year was 15%. He added that even under the sanctions, Rosatom’s portfolio of foreign orders for ten years ahead “stably keeps at the level of $200 billion.”
In 2021, the state corporation’s export revenue amounted to $8.9 billion, an increase of 20.3% compared to 2020. Rosatom’s total revenue also increased by 14.2%, to 1.45 trillion rubles.
