Rosatom has created a joint venture with the UAE’s DP World for the development of the Northern Sea Route

On October 20, Rosatom together with DP World (UAE) created International Container Logistics LLC (ICL) for the development of the Northern Sea Route (NSR), the press service of the state corporation reported. The authorized capital of the new company is 960 million rubles.
DP World is one of the world’s largest logistics companies. The company is owned by Dubai World, which is controlled by the UAE government. Operates more than 80 container terminals in more than 40 countries.
According to SPARK-Interfax, 51% of MKL belongs to Rusatom Cargo (a subsidiary of Atomenergoprom, part of Rosatom), 49% belongs to DP World Russia FZE. The management company of Rusatom Cargo is Global Container Service, 99.99% controlled by Delo-Tsentr LLC, 0.01% by Delo Management Company (51% owned by the founder of the Delo group Sergei Shishkarev, 49% – “Atomenergoprom”). The Delo group did not respond to Vedomosti’s request.
