The rock festival “Invasion” has been postponed to 2025, the festival’s press service reported. The event has not been held since 2019 and has been postponed for the second year in a row.

“Hello to all of us! We regret to announce that we are forced to postpone the “Invasion” festival to next year,” the message states. Organizers said they were unable to ensure the safety of guests, artists and staff, or manage the risks associated with the festival.

The “Invasion” festival, founded by the radio station “Our Radio”, has been taking place since 1999. Rock bands from Russia and neighboring countries took part in it. Until 2004, the event took place in the Moscow region, and later in the Tver region.

The festival has not been held since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The organizers announced the resumption of the event in April 2023. It was supposed to take place in the village of Mityaevo, Borovsky district, Kaluga region, but was postponed to 2024.
