Reuters: Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant in Kazakhstan stopped the production of diesel fuel

The Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant (PKP), the largest in Kazakhstan, has stopped the production of diesel fuel on February 11, Reuters reports citing sources. According to them, NHZ continues to ship diesel fuel from existing reserves and process oil.
Weekend Factory informed, which may suspend the production of liquefied petroleum gas (LHG) due to a lack of storage capacity. It could also lead to a reduction in the production of gasoline and diesel fuel. The Petrochemical Plant said that the maximum mass of LPG that can be placed at the plant is 3,600 tons, while as of February 11, there were 2,857 tons of LPG in the POCR parks, and the daily gas production at the enterprise is 1,000–1,050 tons. However, on February 12, the plant declaredthat the situation has been stabilized.
The capacity of the Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant is 6 million tons of oil per year. The plant produces, among other things, motor gasoline of various grades, diesel fuel, jet fuel, petroleum fuel (fuel oil), liquefied hydrocarbon gases, bitumen (road, roofing), raw materials for the production of carbon black.
