The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), together with Chinese partners, which it does not disclose, is creating a fund for the development of the civil aviation industry worth 100 billion rubles. The RDIF press service reported this on October 17. The new fund will invest in projects and aviation enterprises in the two countries. Capital investments will be made in rubles and yuan, the release says.
The project was announced on the sidelines of the third international “One Belt, One Road” forum, which takes place on October 17-18 in Beijing and will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
